Sometimes good enough
Isn’t really good enough
But it’s good enough

Settle For Success

Good enough is good enough.
Self-evident? Perhaps,
But oftentimes I’ve found it tough
To dodge perfection traps.
It’s not a resolution, but
This year I’ll try again
To simply settle for success
So good enough’s a win.

I have not the faintest clue
What words to scribble here for you,
But will I let that stop me? No!
(I may relax my standards, though.)
