Mandibles

Mandibles are superteeth
Like arms without the hair beneath
That also grasp and crush and cut.
They’re near the mouth and not the butt.
Beetles have ’em, also lice,
Whose mandibles can pierce. That’s nice.
Ants, bees and wasps have all the luck:
Theirs stab and grab, and also suck.
Impressive, no? Applaud the ant!
My mandibles are full. I can’t.
