You Can’t Spell “Diluvial” Without L-U-V

Rainbows draped across the sky
And it’s not even raining. Why
Does seeing one remind me of
A brutal spouse declaring love?
“Hey, you know I love you, baby.
So I drowned your family. Maybe
They were asking for it, but
I’m done with that, no matter what!
Forgive me? You don’t need to fear me!
Smile, so I know you hear me….”

Is that sacrilege? Or odd?
It’s complicated, loving God.
