Rubber Ball

The White House and the Taj Mahal
Are fine, I guess, but of them all
The most important property
You’ll find is elasticity.

Energetic conservation
Cheers me nearly to elation
Every time I think about
The friction losses we’re without.

Things not going as expected?
If your energy’s reflected
Perfectly you’ll have a chance
To spend it on a second dance.

Happiness in large amounts
Accrue to they with things that bounce
(Except for checks), so heed my call
And get yourself a rubber ball.
