Strawberry Patch

The strawberry patch on the back of my hand
Is a miracle! Sure, I may not understand
Why it’s there, but I can’t wait for strawberry season
To hand-pick the harvest! (Wet weather’s the reason,
I’m guessing, it’s oozy and slimy and smelly
And tastes like the inverse of strawberry jelly.)
Please, come for a picnic on Midsummer Day?
I’ll squeegee my toes and make PB&J!
